im a automotive tech, but i wood have to say check every wire on the bike for a short, and change ur stator and regulator or to check the stator just have it runing and check volts from it , not at the battery ,, if its good check the wires from the stator to the battery,, cause like on a car u check the volt comeing from the altanator at it to rule it out if you have low volts change it , i worked on a harley that had this problem

Okay the black wire coming off of the regulator. Does anyone know where it should go because mine is going to the key switch should it go to ground?

Yeah I did but it shows the black wire on a seperate side then the two red wires and I got one of my red ones tied in to the same connector as the black one.

Well damn I think it's a short somewhere. But if ur next rectifier bites the dust we will know it's not the rectifiers fault it is something burning out ur rectifier

I just think it was a bad one and it works when I test it at first when I just start it but then once the diodes in there warm up they get to hot and wont work I know they can do that once they get old
