Cool. I'll keep an eye out. Any idea what you searched for? I've read some forums where they just used the piece off the starter, so I may do that.

Is the estart really obtrusive? It might be nice to have every once in a while.

It's not obtrusive, but for this bike I want to have it as kick only. I'm going to have the bells and whistles on next winter's project.

For a picture of my plug, see motorcycle projects--CB360 Project page 7, its the "All Done!" picture. Click the picture to see a better size photo.
And for searching, I think I searched CB360 starter plug. Its an aluminum plug with a grove cut into it for an o-ring. Its something that can be made on a lathe if you know of one around.

The end result was amazing. I need to strip my frame again, and I'm forlorn that the frame won't fit in that booth because that saved so much time haha. I believe cb500bobber is gonna help me work out my wiring this weekend and she should come together quickly after that. I say that now... Attachments:

Cozzolino Motorsports in Plainfield. My buddy used to work there and the guy there said just to throw him a few bucks whenever we need to get in there to blast parts as long as we're not in there all the time haha. I didn't have time to blast my tank today, so I'm going back at least one more time before this girl gets finished.

Spent time yesterday working on getting all my machine surfaces cleaned and ready to get put back together. Still waiting on random seals and gaskets in the mail. I ordered all new so I wouldn't have to worry about the old ones. Attachments:

After all those surfaces were cleaned, I cleaned up the rest of the parts and now they sit in wait while parts are being sent. I've almost got my wiring harness done, big thanks to Patrick (cb500bobber). He was kind enough to let me look at his bike and show me what everything was so there was no confusion and gave me a killer wiring diagram. I've also made my own wiring diagram, I'll post that later. Still searching for a plug for that starter hole. Can't find any on ebay and if they're on forums, the forums are from 3 years ago. The block off plug was from a "motorcyclesolutionsllc" on ebay. I could not find one either in his store. He might have them later.

Thanks man. I may try to make something to fit. There are some hacks in some of the forums.

Frame has been stripped and painted...ready for parts to go together. Today I'm going to sandblast my fenders, swingarm, and a few other random parts while I wait for the other motor parts to come in the mail. Almost there...

Hey guys, this feels like it's taking forever! I saw way too many bikes on the road this weekend though so I spent a couple hours in the garage last night. I'm making good headway but I have a few questions. For my headlight hi/lo switch, I went with a simple ON/OFF/ON (HIGH/OFF/LOW) toggle that I'm mounting directly to the headlight. Anyone know how I should wire it? The switch has 6 connectors on the bottom, like the one pictured. That's actually the exact one I have. Also, do I need a fuse running to my headlight and one to my taillight? Some of the diagrams I look at just have one from battery > ignition and that's it. Attachments:

Yes you need a fuse for headlight, taillight, and ignition just to be safe
