Picked this up after hours of debating with previous owner. Original deal was to trade a 93 suzuki sidekick but they ended up wanting my project 82 cm400t. Well of course I wasnt going to say no. Running and rides needs some work. Wanted; drag bars, pods, front end swap, progressive shocks, rear tire, would be nice to ditch the mags and get wires, update the turn signals with new, speedometer cable, awh jeez there goes the money. Fired the bike up to show it off and blew the clutch seals, black gold all over the floor.

Thanks to flatout I have new seat, wasnt the right year but Ill make it fit. 2into1 exhaust that's using some old bearing races for header spacers, well see if it leaks if so some gasket material will be added. Dual Disc upfront now utilizing 84 Interceptor calipers, brackets were fairly simple to make. White wall tires on some cleaner rims. Speedometer works now, thanks again flatout. Pods on, fuel filter, breather pod, grips...
Parts needed; drag bar, float for bs38 CV mikuni, new plug wires, cafe fairing?

Interesting old biker trick, beer cans to shim. Had some 37mm clip-ons - two cans cut into strips, to fit on 35mm forks. Took some patientence and lot of bolting unbolting but finally got it to tighten up to where it would hold my body weight.
