So I was at a garage sale this weekend, while glancing over the 50 Harley Davidson T shirts, I overheard the guy talking about selling his Harley Fat Boy. I heard him saying he only has about 1,000 miles on the bike since he bought it brand new. I didn't hear the # but he said he was selling it for less than half of what he paid for it and he spent thousands on chrome. I saw his pissed off wife shaking her head as I walked off looking for more great deals at other sales but it got me thinking....
How much was that bike new? I am guessing not cheap, plus he spent thousands in chrome?
Last year when I rode to Mid Ohio, Hocking Hills and back home. I logged 760 miles that day alone. So that was some very expensive 1,000 miles that guy put on his Harley. No wonder his wife was shaking her head.
I bet he just bought the bike so when he was wearing all those hot black T shirts that he was now selling for $1 each in his garage sale, he could say he actually had a Harley.
Harleys, I don't get it!

The "waive." I'm sorry if you're a bike waiver, you might get a head nod from me, but seldom a waive unless I know you.
When someone rides up behind you in the twisties and they're clearly riding at a quicker pace and you don't give the faster paced bikes an opportunity to get around you. Cars are generally more courteous in the ares I ride than the pack for 4-5 Harley baggers...
Cars who stop in the middle of the road on a blind curve or hill and waive you around...
Cars in general
Sandals, shorts, tanktops, shirtless, helmetless bikers.
"Bikers" who only ride from bar to bar.
People trying to courteous at four way stops and waiving you through when they were clearly there first. ...
...When they waive you through after you put your feet down.
People in cars who accelerate as you pass them.

I'm a waiver, but I'm pretty friendly not on a bike too. Not a pet peeve, bet I like to honk my horn at convertibles and pretend that it was not me.
