I don't know if you guys are paying attention to this thread anymore or not, but I just found this forum and thread today. This all sounds so awesome. I don't know any of you guys and you don't know me from adam, but I have many years of professional experience with a TIG welding and pipe fitting. I live up near Lafayette, but there's nothing like this up here. My cafe bike sticks out drastically. I'd love to be a part of a group that shares a more common interest in older bikes of all kinds.
I read something about maybe making clip-ons and cafe kits? I've got mad skills with mass production and welding shops. Just happens to be what I do for a living. But I'm completely new to the MC world. I don't know squat about the engines and I want to learn. My skills aren't only welding, but my welding is a sellable product.
So, please consider my bid to join.
