Hello all, I'm Gordon from Speedway. Below is a pic of my74 CB750 I stripped down and restored last year. This is my first bike project as I've only done cars in the past. Gonna try and make the Steer Inn meet up for my first time next month. Glad to see this board, got the link from the indyvinmoto e-mail list.

Chris from the East side here (Irvington area). I have a '74 CB550 and an '87 VFR700F. We also just acquired a '67 Benelli Sprite 125 (4 stroke) as a little project recently. It starts and runs, but that's about all it does at the moment. Neat looking little bike, though. Thanks for making this local forum. I recognize a few folks already.

I'm Tim and I've been around the Indianapolis motorcycling scene for the last fourty years. The more new bikes that come out the more I'm drawn to the old stuff. High technology just doesn't do it for me.
Old stuff owned includes a period-correct '72 Hodaka Wombat hillclimber, another Hodaka in the form of a '65 Ace 90 also going together as a '60's period 'climber (complete with struts!!), a '72 Penton Berkshire going back together, a rat Honda Passport and the newest project, a '73 Honda CL-350 being built as a minimalist bike with nothing on it except what's needed to make it go forward and just enough lighting to not totally draw the attention of the cops--a loud, rowdy bike to go out, spin donuts and in general get in trouble on.
Thanks for creating a forum where old bike junkies can meet and share their passion. This is going to be great!!!

hi, I'm David. I'm very glad to see this site begin and develop. I welcome any and all promotion and support of the motorcycle scene in Indy, especially vintage, be it OEM, Rocker, chopper, bobber, rat, or basket... Jap -Brit -Euro -USA -anything that's received the loving touch of an enthusiastic owner. vintage wise, I have 2 runners. an 80 xs650 and a 77 kz1000. and 2 future projects that are being neglected. a 75 xs650 and a 79 bmw r100.

Whats up..names Brian. I got tired of spending 120 a week in gas in my 74 eldorado so I traded it for a 73 cb500 four. I've also owned a 1970 cb750 1980 yamaha 850 special Not really sure what "category" my bike fits into other than "mine"
Been lurking on here for a bit now and finally decided to join!
