Sorry leadkrm, I don't think its gonna be back on the road that soon. I will have to go through the carbs and clean out the gas tank at a minimum. I just hope the tank hasn't rusted. I got some old leather saddlebags in the attic I think I will drag out and clean up to put on it. ;D Larry

Found out about this forum last night at the Steer Inn. My boyfriend and I just moved to Indianapolis from Cincinnati. (we're already missing the twisties) We have a few old bikes that are unfortunately still in storage in Cincinnati. The complete list is...
1970 Bridgestone 90S 1973 Honda CB350G 1980 Vespa P125 1989 Honda CB1 2003 Suzuki SV650 2006 Ninja 650R
Anyway, it was good to see a thriving vintage bike scene here in Indy. Hope to meet some of you soon.

Yeah, the drunk guy was a total weirdo. So where are the good motorcycle dives here in Indy? We wanted to make it our to the Rocker's Reunion but we were busy with moving and all. I'm familiar with the Melody Inn, I'm in a band that has played there a few times in the past. Anywhere else good to check out?

Found this board on the Indy Craigslist before someone flagged it for removal. Not really in Indy, but down in Bloomington, IN. Just acquired a 1973 Honda CB500K2 survivor that needs some TLC to get back on the road. It has a lot of potential, so I am going to return it back to daily-rider status. Right now the carbs are off and I have one open for cleaning. Working very slowly to enjoy my little project. I need to attend a bike night for inspiration and to swap stories. -- John

I work for a local shop on the eastside but spend most of my time at my paint shop in Brownsburg. Whats up nate. Very nice 360. I am not into bobbers but I can appreciate the value and work that has gone into yours. Keep up the good work an if you can, try to do a thread with your next rebuild so we can enjoy your bikes progress

Hi, my name is Sean and I'm an addict! I'm addicted to anything old and oily. I started riding as soon as I could walk. My dad is and always has been a Harley nut. I went through a sport bike phase, then Harley’s and in my mid 20’s got in to vintage. Now all I do or have is mainly British twins and early 70's thumper dirt bikes. An occasional CB will find its way into my garage from time to time. I live on the Southside of Indy off Southport and Madison. If you are ever over that way and hear a 2 stroke in the distance or happen to drive by my house while I'm grooming my track with my quad feel free to stop in for a beer or just to say hi. My 750 was actually painted by Nate who posted up above me. Hey Nate! Glad to see some more vintage motorcycle organizing going on in Indy. We have a pretty cool scene that I have had the privilege to have been around for the last 6 years. 1968 Penton six day steel tanker 1974 Penton Hare scramble 250 1971 T120RV 750 1971 T120 650
