Hi All!
Well, brand new to the forum...and fairly new to bikes. I just found and purchased my first "real" bike. I say real as its the first bike I've ridden with a clutch. I just finished restoring a 1981 CT110 (probably can kinda see in the background), but as CTs go, its an auto clutch.
SO. This little baby is so much fun, but has its little quirks that I'm going to work out along with make some minor modifications. Where I'd like suggestions is the following:
It needs Mufflers...I dont want super lound, just sounds good. I'm considering Roadhawks...but not sure.
The engine. The prior owner had it running well, but I'm not really trusting my ability to service this quite yet. I really would appreciate some help tracking down a reasonable shop to see how much it would take to give her a one through. I cant spend a fortune and judging by the attitude I got from the local honda shop here, they are so busy on newer more pricey stuff...this one would be pushed in the corner. I currently live in Noblesville, but our house just sold and we're on our way to New Palestine!
Lastly, any further advice would be helpful. My future mods will be to restore the tank, covers (fork and side) back to factory paint, possibly a mild "bump" seat....and maybe down the road lower bars and rear sets. Right now though...I'd like to get it running in tip top shape so I dont have to worry about that part of it.
