hard starting and dieing

84 honda magna 700c
i started out ok no problems on the ride, then when it started geting to the center of the temp gauge, i pull off for gas and food, it was fine. so i let is set for like 20mins while i ate, then went to leave and it woudnt start, took a little bit then it started, rode a while then stoped agin , it set agin for 30 mins or so, took a while to start. then rode a while more and stop cause of a friends bike had problems . i left mine running, it started surging then died, and woundnt start took a while to start.. every time it did this it has smoke coming from the exhaust and one time it had gas coming out,, all help wood be great,

sounds like a carb cleaning, check spark on cylinder thats pushing gas out the exhaust. start with that.

How long has it been since you changed the antifreeze

it was low 2 months ago and i out half a gallon in it,, my dad thinks it may have a air pocket and my be vapor locking the carbs ,,,

im going to check the coolant this week

I would change it completely

ya im going to change the plugs agin and change the coolant and see what happens, i may try some seafom see if it helps
