Alright,i have a triumph t120 I just picked up that has the mighty max battery eliminator on it..Well this set up isn't really great for an everyday street bike so I am converting it back.. Been researching all the options and have now confused myself. I want to run a sparx stator set up,and electronic ignition but all the set ups I find seem like they are missing something.. what coils can I run? I would prefer running only one instead of having 2 cuz I can hide 1 under the tank. thanks

What did you end up doing on this? Just curious. I have to figure out where to put two coils as well. In the past I've used two auotmotive coils and a couple of hose clamps to hang them off of a framerail. I did that on my old Honda and most people thought is was cool. Cheap, worked great, a much hotter spark (in the case of the coils I bought but had the same resistance as the stock honda coil) lasts a long time. The smaller Triumph coils could possibly done the same way. Plus you can wrap them with your favorite adult bevarage can. :-) Just throwing it out there. Please give us an update. Thanks Eric

I have all the motor items done now and am working on the frame. more than likely won't be ready to reassemble for a couple months. I shit canned the whole mighty max system and went with a sprarx 3 phase set up with the electronic ign.

Cool. That should be plenty reliable. Post some pics of your build if you have some. I love to see others solutions and design ideas.
