I swear there is only about a 12hr window to buy a Honda twin on Clist  . In the next week or two I am going to get serious and get cash in hand and camp out at somebodies house. What is the deal with all of these bikes with no titles? I am a little apprehensive about jumping on a bike with no title. |

It isn't that bad to get a title in Indiana. I had to for my bike.

Used to hard as hell to get a title in Indiana,now its not too hard from what I hear.

Maybe when I see a bike on Clist, I just need to call and tell them I will send a $100 deposit thru paypal to hold the bike. This may be the only way to catch one of these bikes.

Right now the market is inflated.
You can still find good deals but youve got to be ready to jump at moments notice.
If your looking for a project bike, one with no title is good as by the time you finish it you should have the title.
For titled bikes well you know the market is up at the moment.

There's a yahmaha xs400 on there right now for 1200 that looks in good shape.

Speaking of titles. What about getting a bike out of state, say Ohio. Is it any harder to get a title for a bike that is from out of state?

Forget about getting a cafe project. With all the vintage mopeds and minibikes on Clist I should just get one of those.
