We are lucky to have a guy like Guenther Wuest so close to us as there are not many people in the country that know the BMW engine as well as him. Guenther rebuild my /2 BMW engine and I have 37,000 trouble free miles on it. He is like a forensic scientist for the BMW motor. I bought a R 80 G/S in April 1982 in Germersheim, as you worked as a mechanic at BMW.
I still keep that bike and I m just refurbishing it! I drove 135000 km and the engine is still dry after your sealing in 83'. Last year I bought a California 2 built in 85 in best condition.
