I have a friend that has gone there several years in a row. I have not been personally.
I would love to go watch though.

I would like to break one too but I think you will break your pocketbook trying to make a bike go 66 mph more than it could at stock. That would be cool as snot if you could do it.

I stopped by there on my way back from Reno years ago. It's a really cool place. A good friend of mine Craig Somers holds a land speed record on a 250 BSA single. He and his son Max travel out there every year trying to squeeze a few points of a mile out of their top speed. He has a ton of $$ in that bike and I have seen what it takes to make a land speed record bike over the years. Hopefully one of these days I can travel out there with him to see it run! This is Craigs BSA from a few years back at the Vin Moto booth at the bike expo.

That is cool to want to do that Id say go for it.There is just about a class for everything and I think you can find something to build a bike for.

I was looking at doing this a while back...In fact I still have the belly tank that I was going to use for the project...maybe someday You do not need to go to Bonneville to do this..although it would be a better adventure ecta-lsr.com/North Carolina is a lot closer and pavement is not as finicky as the salt

I'll put my money on you. The dude that is helping me work on my motor used to spend a lot of time souping up car engines to get way more HP than they get stock. I could see if he'd be able to help you if you want. Either way, it'd be awesome to go for it!

Your could run some high compression on 118 octane fuel they have listed in the ECTA broucher
