Well I've been busy putting this thing together and forgot I had a build thread posted. Since we left off... I wanted a rear hugger type fender so I stole a KZ900 fender from my brother and went to town. I also cut down a swap meet harley fender for the front... Performed a leak test on the engine, it held 6 psi rock solid for minutes....

I had the frame, swinger, brackets and calipers powdercoated. And started reassembly.. fabbed up some SS brackets for the JL pipes out of 1/8" flat bar Because I removed some ele items and wanted to hide the harness, I drew up my own wiring diagram and went at it I'm glad to say everything appears operational and nothing melted when I test fired the circuits. I've since cleaned it up a bit and set most of it in shrink-tube. This is where it sits now. This weekend I plan on bleeding the brakes, timing the engine, and start stripping the tank, seat pan and fenders for paint...almost there!

Steve - I have to get there first! Probably have stiffer competition than me.
Shane - the green bike is a 76 Rd400 as well. All 400 tanks are the same except the daytona's. If yours is clean, let me know what you want for it. I have another that has a dented tank...
