I know, I know, you get what you pay for and never trust people on eBay. I have had great luck for the most part on eBay but today, I was not as lucky. The mail man hands me the crushed box that made sounds as he handed it to me. Yeah!! My super awesome deal on some cb900f shocks came today! WTF, he must have also sent me some Christmas jingle bells as an added bonus in the box. I open the box and parts come rolling out across the garage floor. I think, why would he have disassembled the shocks before he sent them? I guess that will make it easier to paint, polish the aluminum and clean the rust........ Well, I guess they were disassembled because someone cut the springs down and now there is not enough spring to even hold the shocks together.
I contacted the seller but who knows if I will hear back from him? Maybe I can find some other springs to use. I got these with buy it now at about $100 - $125 less than any I have seen on ebay in the past year or so, but I wasn't expecting junk. Just had to vent a little and figured you guys can relate unlike my wife who wouldn't have a clue or even care what I was talking about.

I replied to him saying that if he refunded me half the money and I got to keep the shocks that he would not be out double shipping on a box of bad shocks. He agreed to this and now I need to find me some springs that will fit these. I wish I knew what size these springs are supposed to be!
