HEY EVERYONE, I am looking to finally purchase my first bike and am currently looking to drop about a grand to do so. Preferably something with a smaller engine (anywhere from 250cc-600cc). I am a huge bobber/racer enthusiast so please keep that in mind if you are thinking about responding. I do like bikes with old school appeal and style but also need something reliable. Thanks for the consideration and I hope to hear from some of you soon.

79 cm400t bobber cafe hybrid damn near running it I just get time to finish, lots of custom stuff.
If you dont work on bikes I could finish it hopefully before spring.

Taggat, thanks for the quick reply man. As far as the cafe hybrid goes, what all does it need to get running? I know how to do most basic maintenance but if it comes to fabrication or syncing carbs my knowledge is limited. Could I get some pictures as well?

For the 400 just need some time, I need to play with synching the jets and testing the old coil, getting spark but I think its weak.

The nice thing about the 400 is the cdi ignition as the bike will run with a dead battery.

Ive had ny CM400 for 16 or 17 years and its never failed to start no matter how long I let it sit,it is dead reliable.
