I had an all stock 77 KZ1000 until a couple months ago, and have another one in pieces. I'm also working on a 77 KZ650 cafe project. I've had 3 others in the past. The 74 is actually my favorite year Z1. I haven't been on the forum in a few days. I wish your head hadn't exploded in the other thread. Not many (no strech-no neon) KZ enthusiast's out there.

There's nothing wrong with stretching it he was just saying that there aren't many people out there that leaves those bikes stock

thanks cbBoB, you are most observant, I know kzRick was smiling when he wrote that however, since Chester so cheerfully brought up "opinions" expressed on other folks bikes, I'd like to elaborate some. WE ARE DIFFERENT. I'm not ashamed to think your style of bike maybe looks like crap, tho I would keep it to myself if I did. Truth be told, I've seen more than one "direction" I wouldn't take, when making alterations. I don't even like my own shit half the time when it's done. The only rule is... there are no rules. Just please yourself, and don't pay a lot of attention to others' opinion. Something Chester should consider. That said, big KZ's can be many things, but bone factory stock is my favorite. Must say, I have never owned one, but this is what I would want. I prefer a KZ over any CB750. I'm sure they handle a whole hell of a lot better. Sry CB guys....
