Hey all, I'm new to the forum here but I've been looking around and it seems like a pretty cool place. So I got my first bike a little while ago, it cost me nothing. My old man bought it a while back and quickly found out he wasn't as into riding as he used to be. So now it's mine free and clear. I've always been more of a truck guy but I love 4-wheelers and have wanted a dirt bike for a while now. So i figured since the bike is free why not turn it into a dirt bike, or at least a dual-sport. The bike runs really well, the only issue is the clutch needs adjusted. So the plan is to start with getting the clutch done and making sure it really runs as well as I think it does lol. Then I need to either fab a rear end, or just lengthen the stock swingarm. I found a swing arm extension kit from Wrench Tech Racing for like $50. If I did that then I would need to find longer shocks for the rear. I already found the tires I'm gonna run, less than $100 for the pair. I'd like to go flat green on all of the painted parts, but I'm not sure I can bring myself to mess up the purdy paint. I was also thinking about lacing a rear wheel to the front hub, but I've never done that before and I'm not sure if the guys I saw do it were just doing it for looks. So has anyone ever done any of this before, if so any suggestions?
