thanks for that oldrook. I didn't know these existed till a month ago when I read a road test in one of my old magazines (a very favorable write-up). that thing sounds great. I hope to see it up close sometime. it seems a nice alternative to the XS650/KZ750 parallel twins of the era.

I hope to see it up close sometime. it seems a nice alternative to the XS650/KZ750 parallel twins of the era. Never rode an XS650, but the GR is supposedly 60lbs. lighter and has far less virbration.

A few more: I put dirt bike bars on to replace the damaged buckhorn bars (they would have gone even if brand new.) Very easy bike to get into turns with, but the wide bars really let you feel the wind after a while. Christmas Day '11
