It's running on both cylinders now. I have my headlight, tail light, and gauges wired up. Points cover plate was shorting out the right spark. It's running a bit lean now but I'm going to be going through some main jet sizes I'm running 145 mains now. When I finally got the bike running on both cylinders it was awesome. I didn't expect this 450 to move like it did. Ran like a scalded ape. So this Sunday it will get to go to the mad max run.

I'm on the final aspects of the engine. Just fine tuning and getting my jetting right. Cosmetic wise I need paint on the tank, side covers and seat. I could use some rear shocks. Actually I do need shocks I just am being cheap about it. I upgraded lights and repaired all the wiring that needed anything close to repair. I have beaded tires on the rims and there are parts that haven't seated ( since there isn't an actual seat for the bead) and am not sure if over inflating the tube temporarily would fix it. Almost done.

"I could use some rear shocks"
I have the original rear shocks off my cb450 still. If you need them, they are yours!

Sweet! Mine leave me bouncing a bit too much after a bump. When are you available? Are you still off 37 and smith valley over in that area?

I finally got the bead of the front tire even. Had to deflate it then soap up the side wall and bead followed by an inflation to 55 psi then I went around the sides and tapped with a rubber mallet and guess what! The walls staightened up. The thing picks up speed better and maintains it longer obviously from the reduction in wobble. Rides much better. After rechecking my float height this weekend and switching out some slow jets i think I'll have this thing running perfect.

Alright guys. I got that lean prob out the way. Floats were starving the bike. Now I think I just need help with timing. Anyone want to help me out here? I want to make sure I'm good on points gap and timing before I start messing with syncing these carbs because I'll just end up doing it again once the timing is fixed proper. Let me know please
