Okay so here's my thought of something that we could all get together and do. Here's how it would start we take a map of indiana and its surrounding state and throw a dart at it and that is where we would take our trip. We hop on the bikes Saturday around noon and ride to our destination taking our time of course then find a campground near by and sleep there. Then wake up in the morning and do some site seeing and then head back after lunch on Sunday. If anyone would like to do this or has any other ideas let me know. I would like to try and set something like this up so that way everyone has plenty of notice.

Cool idea but I am in hopes that you are good at throwing a dart so we don't end up in like Athens, Indiana where there is nothing to do! Is this something you would want to do when it warms up a little?

I'm SO down for something like this! If you're aiming the dart though that takes the randomness out of it though. :-) I say toss it over your shoulder!

Maybe I should just do it blind folded

Are there guidelines for these trips? Like two lane/side roads only or 200mile radius anything like that?

Okay guys and gals I have done the dart toss and it landed on rose hill Ohio. By looking on the map it shows that there is a town about 5 miles north of there that is called fort recovery and they have a park so I am gonna do a little research and find out what is there and at rose hill and that way we have a good idea of what we can do once we get there

First I have to say, you must really suck at darts if you can't even hit the right state. That's by Columbus right? I am all for it! I don't want to be a downer, but keep in mind that this is a vintage bike forum and I have heard somewhere that some vintage bikes break down from time to time. That being said...... Lets do it! I know this is like an hour or so north from Rose Hill but, I have always thought it would be cool to take a tour of the Mansfield prison (shawshank redemption). I plan on going every time I go to mid ohio but after a day of looking at the swap and races in the crazy heat, I just want to get back on the bike and ride like another 5 hours. Hocking Hills is just south of rose Hill, great hiking and some of the curviest roads in Ohio. Sounds like fun!

oops, I guess there is more than one rose Hill , Ohio. I wondered how you could hit all the way by Columbus on an Indiana map.

I figured it would only take us like 3-4 hours to get to fort recovery and from what I've seen its a really cool old military town I just have to find us a campground around there

Okay I've done a little more research and from here to fort recovery is 105a miles and it should take about 2 hours
