I won this bike on Ebay for around 100 dollars. Going to pick it up in Ohio Saturday. I do not know what I want to do with it. The bike does not come with a title. :-( Who knows until I see it in person, ideas may pop into my mind. Attachments:

I got the "it ran when I parked it, several years ago."
It has a 75-76 gas tank on it, but the drum gives it away as a 74.
I'm kinda curious to see if the front end had been swapped, and if the camchain tensioner upgrade had been done.

Why can't I found these deals. Sounds like you are as lucky as Patrick when it comes to finding the deals. The sad thing is I have been looking on ebay and did not see this one, lol.

Its in pretty rough shape. But I'm just keeping the engine and carbs. The rest I'll either sell or trash. Attachments:

Amazing surpise all around the top end. The forward tensioner guide gave way and the chain just ran thru the case. Still some good salvageable parts inside. Attachments:

Some jb weld, and a new tensioner and it'll run great. :-)

Have you decided on what kind of bike your going to build around the motor? I did a xs 400 1 time made a 86 in. chopper out of it, kind of a rat bike. I built lot of bikes since then , but alot of people still like that one the best. I still have it and have never really finished it, but plan on mayby this spring or next summer. It's an old 77
