I figured I'd post this place up since I visit it quite often and it's rarely that busy.
Wholesale Tool on 601 East Hanna (just east of East St. on the south side)
They have a huge inventory of tools and the good thing is most of it is sold per piece. I needed a 32mm socket and @ Sears you had to buy a set of 4 for like $50, I was able to pick one up there for under $10.
Their inventory is a mix from the cheap to the higher end stuff.
Just do not buy their Chinese sand paper...its pennies per sheet but you'd be better off using toilet paper...
Anyone else have any good tool spots around town?

+1 on Wholesale Tool! They had a Whitworth tap and die set for 49 bucks a few months ago. I missed the sale though... you old British guys know what a deal this is.
