Rode from White river state park downtown to Deer Creek yesterday..Got done at Deer Creek and went out to the lot to head Back downtown and The rear tire was flat..Filled it up and it got me downtown.By 3am it was flat again..The tire is already bald and Im not really interested in Patching a tire on a motorcycle. Whats a good rear tire that can take Alot of miles? And is also good in quick corners?

I'm assuming by your name that you are talking about a CB500?
You'll get a million different opinions on tires....but I can tell you what I run on my CB550. I have Dunlop D404 front and back and really like them. Economics are what attracted me initially because they are fairly cheap, but they really do handle pretty well and look good. I usually end up going to Westfield Yamaha to have tires put on (it's by work) and their prices are pretty decent on Dunlops. Seems like they were around $100 each installed including a new tube. This tire doesn't come in inch sizes, though, so you'll have to pick a metric size that's appropriate. I can tell you what size mine is, but I seem to remember the 500 stock tires size being slightly smaller than the 550 in the back.

Thanks man I appreciate any info! Yeah its a cb500. The Dunlop 404 is actually what is already on the back.so if it is a decent tire I will probably just stick with that. The tire was already worn when I got the bike But I thought it would get me through this season.
