I just saw the ad on Craigslist that someone posted. indianapolis.craigslist.org/mcy/2510382854.htmlI don't know if we would, but before we get anyone from indyvinmoto upset, I think we should not advertise for their first Thursday meet on craigslist, especially if we can't even call the group by the correct name (it is IndyVinMoto not invto). I think there are several people that don't even know that IndyVinMoto and Indianapolis Vintage are two different groups. I do however think it is great that we have a posting on cl about our group. I agree chris I think its fine that we go up there and hang with them but we should definitely not be associating are group with theirs. As bad as that might sound we don't want them thinking that we are trying to copy off of them or trying to steal people we are just here to have people meet together and help people out that have the same interests and get these old bikes back on the road. Thanks chris for finding this and bringing it up.

Indy vin moto is just a email group. We started it becuse of what we saw with Mil Vin and Chi Vin. A couple of us that started it usually post Craigslist ad's, but we usually spell it right. It really has no managment and anyone is welcome to promote it, but just get the name and spelling right. thanks

Just curious, who else here subscibes to the vin moto list. I have for about the last two years. I only made a few posts and have since forgot the google email I used to join. I still get the updates through my sbc address but can't reply.
I saw their display at the Indy expo last winter they had some nice bikes.

I am on the list, the actual google group is here. groups.google.com/group/indyvinmotoI worked the booth at the Indy expo the last two years and it is a great group of guys and gals that wants the same thing as this group. They want to join people together that have the same interests in riding and fixing vintage motorcycles. If anyone does not belong, you should sign up. I think most people are riding at this time of year but when winter comes your inbox can fill up pretty fast! Here is the facebook page www.facebook.com/groups/122509101101200

Yea I need to resign up with the new gmail account I have through verizon so I can post. You don't have to have a gmail account, any email addy will work. I had a indy.rr.com address for my first couple years and to post, just send an email to indyvinmoto@googlegroups.com and it will post.
