Here is a brief update... Both wheels are now laced trued and assembled. I still need to do a static balance on them. The frame is sanded, scuffed and a gallon of lacquer thinner away from having paint on it. So by this weekend, I should be assembling things for the last time before this riding season. :-).

Looking good, you may get it done before I ever make it over! I've got kids birthdays this week and the expo this weekend! Sunday I'm going to Nashville to pick up a new bike!!! Maybe I can ride over Monday night and see your progress.

Rustoleum Semi gloss black... I sanded / scuffed / blended as much as I could. Wiped it down with lacquer thinner. Two coats of Rustoleum Red/Brown Primer. Two coats of the afore mentioned black paint. Let it cure for several days. Mostly due to the temperature. And done. After this riding season if nothing falls off, I'll tweak a couple of mounts (because I'm not 100% happy with them but I'm running out of time) and have it blasted and possibly powdercoated.

Actually I'm having very good luck with the weather. I painted it when it was 50+ degs the other day. The paint does take a long time to cure but It seems to cure better. At any rate thanks for the complement! Powder coating is the ultimate plan but until I know my welds will hold up and nothing falls off... Rustoleum it is! :-)
I know a couple guys wanted to stop by. I'll be in the garage all day Sunday. The plan is to have a roller with the engine in the frame by the time I go inside. Final assembly has begun!!!!

Hey All! Here is this weekends progress. First I'd like to thank cb500bobber for coming over and lending a hand. Had a great time bs'in and without his help I wouldn't have gotten as far along as I did. I didn't take pictures as I went, although cb did. Here is what it looked like when I came in. I was thinking of green and silver but Black and Silver looks really good. Nova
