Father & Son pair of GT550s

Here's our pair of GT550s my son and I are building.

His '76 will receive Yamaha FZR wheels, upgraded brakes, sportbike fork, new exhaust and a café tail section.





My '74 is pretty much bare already.  It will get sportbike forks, upgraded brakes, upgraded rear shocks, expansion chamber exhaust, custom made café tail section and I have a set of spoke wheels w/ tires for it already.






We both need tanks and I need the side covers.  I have some original parts to get rid of if anyone has a tank or two!!

Love the 2 strokes ! Keep the progress updated on here. Have you heard of mooresville metric motorcycles ? They may have some parts you need, I havent been there yet but im definately going there. They are on facebook, look'em up.
