Here is my dad's 1964 Dover White BMW R69S Project

Back, maybe 15 years ago I found this R69s in a trader paper. I had a couple 1980 R65s but wanted an earlier BMW. After hearing how bad my dad wanted an early model Beemer in high school, I figured he should be the one buying the bike instead of me. Dad rode it around the block a dozen or so times and then it sat parked in the garage unridden until now. I hope he gets it done by Rockers Reunion 2015.

Day one..... Strip her down and remove the engine.

Now that the engine is out, it is time to strip the rest of the stuff off and get her down to the bare frame so she will be ready for bead blasting.

Looks great!  I love these bikes, got a similar project coming up, a conversion, 1965 R60 w/ R100 engine swap.
