Hi! I have an '88 BMW r100RS that has an aftermarket Works Performance single rear shock which has a Nitrogen reservoir (with a schrader valve). The shock seems soft and I think it might need an N2 charge (which, based on my web research needs to be about 200-250psi). Does anyone have relevant experience with this type of shock and/or know of who might be able to do the charge? Thanks! BD

Id try some places that service welding equipment. If they refill tanks I'm sure they would be able to refill your shock.

here www.earlsindy.com/home/ on gasoline alley. it's been a year or so since I've been in there but there's an old lady (seriously) with a small shop in the front of this store. ALL she does is rebuild shocks. she can repair anything "with mfg support" (parts availability) Earls is a very cool place for misc stuff as well. they make any kind of brake line you need. nice folks too.
