So I believe I am going to put the windshield back on my bike and give it another try. I got a good deal on it new last year and had to fabricate my own steel brackets to fit the bike since they don't make them. It looked great when I put it on the bike the only real issue I had with it was a fluttering of the wind at higher speeds in which I can only assume it was because of the angle I had it set at.

The brackets I ground and rewelded held good got rid of the fluttering but gained an updraft, plus I can't get past looking through a window on a bike. I think I am just going to sell the windshield. Anyone need one? $40 and about 30 mins of total road time. Has some light scratching (was on there when I bought) but will come out.
