www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKuXyeAGzEUWow is all I have to say to that.. That's amazing. I hear that kits can be bought to do this. Custom skins can be made and it is overall inexpensive. Could you imagine having this done then putting a clear powder coat over the skin?? Well maybe upon how it handles to heat. I think I need to make some future investments! lol

I've seen people do hydro dipping on guitars and smaller things. It's nice it would be a fun project

I was reading and clear powder coat can be applied over the dip but the dip has to be really under cured (it's prone to burn or smoke) for it to be baked properly, but it can be done, there is also the urethane or cerakote option which is less durable than powder but still gives a really nice finish to the part.
