I have a 76 kz400 and one of my carbs has a broken jet port. well, the place where the main jet goes is corroded and doesn't hold the jet anymore. I can't seem to find another carb to replace it with so I was trying to do some research and it looks like a mikuni vm32 will work but I don't know if its just that easy to replace them. I have a keihin vb32. if anyone knows where to buy a new keihin that would be ideal, otherwise does anyone know if the mikuni will work? I'm pretty sure I need to buy a new throttle cable and choke for it but what about the holding bracket and why does the mikuni have a hose on the top? or is there another fix or carb?

If I were you I'd give cycle recycle 2 off 10th street a call when they open on Tuesday. I have never needed a part he didn't have or couldn't get. I'm sure the other carb ur talking about would work but you would have to replace both carbs with the new type. You couldn't have one stock carb and one new one because they are going to stay in sync.
