1982 BMW R100RT

Greetings from Africa ;D

My name is Wez & I am soon to be moving to Indianapolis.

Currently living in South Africa, but my wife is a Hoosier & we have decided to make the move to the great ol' US of A!!

My bike started off as a full-faired R100RT = fairing, panniers, top-box & large touring seat etc.

I tore the bike right down & basically did a nut & bolt rebuild.

We don't have all the resources & sparkly parts (eBay) available here in Africa, so I had to do most of the work myself.

I'm planning on bringing the bike with me to the States, so would really like to meet up with a few of you guys/gals when I arrive & go for a ride/talk endless bike related banter!

Did anybody else think this was one of those "you can have the $5,000,000 when I get to the states I just need your bank account information... " scams when you first started reading it?

LOL... I just read my post (from an American perspective) & can totally see how you thought it was on of those scams! ;D ;D ;D
