Have a 68 Triumph Daytona been working on for 6 months- starts right up, but idles fast. Rebuilt carbs(new parts) and ultra sonic cleaned. Crazy thing will not calm down. First experience will amal carbs- anyone know how to adjust down the idle. Has 2 carbs.

VMC,the adjustment screw that is at an approx.45 degree angle is idle speed. If that doesn't have the desired effect, one or both of the throttle cables needs more slack or you have an air leak. A common air leak is the balance tube has a split in it or the chokes have been removed and the hole in the cap isn't plugged. Jack

thanks Jack- will see if these work. VMC,the adjustment screw that is at an approx.45 degree angle is idle speed.
