I just came across the forum . . . pretty cool!
Thought I'd post up a pic of my RD350 I put together over this past winter . . . except I can't seem to attach a picture!!! Guess I'll keep trying!

super nice!!! are you local indy? Thanks for the compliment on the bike . . . I'm not exactly local Indy, but am in north central Indiana. Near Peru, which is straight north on 31 about an hour. I don't see many vintage bikes around here! Im in Harley country!!!

Welcome to the group. Love the rd! There are a few in the group from up in that area! I know there are a couple people from Rochester in the group (my home town).

great looking bike. I put JL's on my 400.
Just curious how the 350 runs with them? Mine are strong when I'm on the pipe (above 6500 rpm) but its got the flat spot around 5k.

I'd say that's a pretty accurate assessment . . . . it hits the power band pretty hard, but lags just a bit right before the power hits. I've messed w/ the carbs quite a bit to try to get it smoothed out, but it's still there. I have it pretty dang close, though . . . . it's a blast to ride, for sure!

yeah I feel I'm close as well. (I'm running Kehin PWK's though). I leaned out the needle this weekend and went to a bigger pilot. It smoothed the flat spot and gave me quite a bit more bottom end. The pilot is now a little too fat so I still have some experimenting to do.
