The mile is an excellent race though I missed it last year. Skipped it for the motorcycles on meridian event which shouldn't be missed either.
Love the GP though... the sound of those bikes are like nothing else.
I hope we don't loose this event but with them signing the 10 year deal in Austin starting in 2013 I wonder if they will be able to support three U.S. events.

i ill be there with my good friend joe. his dad usually get us tickets. i like going to the race cause its usually pretty chill. and you can just walk around and sit anywhere.

From what I've read, Austin isn't close to being finished and they are losing funding. It's a big we'll see that this point. One of the big perks for us moving to Indy was the GP! I'll be bummed if it's no longer here. I've been every year and wouldn't miss it.

We'll see if the riders like the newly repaved road course section of the track, all complained it was too well worn and the track overall is not too technical. It would be a great loss to the midwest to have it go to Texas however FIM is trying to expand the market for GP as a whole so who knows

hayden was out making laps on friday, but I haven't heard his thoughts on the new track...he was also on a prepped 1198 not his gp bike....

he said the track was a lot better than it has been and that ims did more by paveing the whole in feild,

id really like to go i have ben to Daytona and the race is cool but being there going through the vendors and side events was the funnest where can i sit near my bike eat some food and watch the strip around here just m????oved up from fla

The infield during the three days has lots of vendors and some show bikes. However there will be probably a 1000 bikes lined up on meridian st on Fri and Sat night if not more.
