Hello,
I am new to the forum and new to a 71 CL 350. I love this twin and want to have it running again soon. The bike ran great when I bought it but had an oil leak on the left side of the cam cover. I took the engine apart down to that level and put some liquid gasket on put it all back together per the clymer Manuel timed it and it would not fire up. I went back and checked my work and feel like I did everything right but obviously there is something I missed I am wanting to take the bike some where b/c I feel like I am at the end of my knowledge. So I need some advice/help. Any at all would be greatly appreciated. I am on the near east side of Indy.
Thanks,
Nolan

Do you have spark when you kick the bike over? Could have lost your timing or points gap.
