Hello everyone, new to the forum.
I am looking for someone to restore the bike (or more likely resto mod).
I have a lot of the parts and just do not have the time to work on it or the space. It needs a lot of work. Was stored in a shed for almost 30 years.
( My Dad's bike brand new in 66, parked it in 78 and just left it) was running too! URG!!!
Anyway, any help would be appreciated. I really want this thing on the road by the end of summer. I need it to be reasonable as I am looking to spend $2000 or less. But $2000 is the budget. Like I said I have most of the parts and would purchase any parts needed.
I ride a 2003 Vulcan Meanstreak 1500, but my love is old school. Especially these 2-stroke screamers!
It turns over and is not locked up. My biggest challenge is custom pipes? As mine are no good and I really want some expansion chambers anyway.
If you can do it for less that would be great! As I really just dont want it to sit any longer, and my Dad is not interested. I can help some but I work a lot and have a 1 year old so not much time to spare.
I have had a 76 kz650 and have riden many vintage bikes.
Please help in anyway you can!!
