I am currently working on a 1966 Suzuki 150cc S32-2 with a bad petcock. After messing with it for months I've decided to replace the part all together but I have not been able to find a replacement anywhere.
I've been limiting my search to original parts because I don't know what would fit the threading on this old bike. I am a novice when it comes to this stuff and its my first bike. Just need a little help figuring out what to look for.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Find a Suzuki dealer online that has a parts microfiche. If they don't make it anymore you can look up similar models and determine which ones use the same peacock. Then keep an eye on eBay for those models. You mentioned it was threaded. Is it a small stub with male threads or did it bolt to the tank?w

what a small world...I just finished this same bike and had to replace my petcock...Call me 317-997-2031 or txt and I can give you the scoop for a nice replacement part. Finding an OEM is impossible!!!! Here is mine: Went to a retired Dr. in PA. Very cool bike!!!

Great thread! Ive got a 65 S32 with the same petcock problem. the cork shriveled up after the years. I have an idea to repair mine by using either a small section of fuel hose or actual cork to replace the deteriorated cork itself. a wine bottle cork might be enough material to get the job done. I can respond back with results if anyone is interested.
