Here is the next on the lift...1978 Kawi KZ650. Bought from the original owner in Frankfort last Sat. The owner repainted the metals back in 1980 and they still look GREAT!! Wasn't looking for a project on this one, but she has no spark. The pics with the step seat, sissy bar etc are from the previous owner. He had the original seat in perfect condition as it was NEVER ON THE BIKE!!! I am selling the sissy bar, luggage rack, crash bar and extra step seat if any one needs them. Plan to use the bike as my "daily" rider....but prob sell it off.
She rides GREAT though. Cleaned in sections. Rear end was all removed, cleaned and regreased. The engine covers removed, cleaned and polished. Clutch mech was taken apart to clean then greased. New cable too. Carbs were completely torn down and each one soaked and the blown through. Caps and bowls polished. Bike is a SWEET rider. still need to complete the detail on the front. Does have new braided brake lines too. Not sure if I will sell this one??
