Help!
Vinegar worked well to clean out my tank (still had some gas in it after being in storage for 27 years!) but what do/should I use in it now. I will not be using it for several weeks until the rest of the fuel system is cleaned/rebuilt. Would Marvel Mystery Oil with gasoline be a possible solution?
Any suggestions, ideas, experiences with storing a tank?
Thanks!

Marvel may work...I sometimes use two stroke oil / gas mix for short duration storage. However, for longer I would go get some fogging oil and spray it in there. Might have to get it at a boat place, or a real auto parts store like NAPA or Carquest. Last time I asked for it at Advance they looked at me like I was from Mars.

i use 2 stroke oil. coat the whole inside then just seal the tank up. next time you use it, swish it out with some gas and fill ' er up burn the rest through the engine.

I use a product called Red Coat that seals the tank, put it on the shelf for 20 more yrs and it will still look like new. 1 can will do several tanks.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. Having two stroke oil on hand I probably will try it. Hopefully, the tank will be in use within a few months. One thing seems to lead to another as I work my way through the systems.
I have tried a couple of times to post pictures but no luck yet. Just not a "technology" guy I guess.
