was that a real question? about the oil pump? if so,they are made for high output. like if you do ALOT of highway or freeway miles. cross country. shit like that, which i will be doing this next summer.

They are high output alright, but not a good idea for a stock motor no matter how many highway miles you are planning on doing. With a stock motor,a good plunger pump output is fine, the higher output of the rotary just gets dumped back into the crankcase by the oil pressure R.V. This is where the problems start. This extra oil in the crankcase can cause breather problems and also oil control problems in the cyls. I strongly suggest you do more research on this before you make a move I believe you will regret. Jack

Chico, I’ve taken my stock 71 with wore out engine and stock oil pump to FL, Chi, and Denver in one summer and never had an issue with the oil pump. Now there were plenty of other problems. What do you want to gain by putting the high performance oil pump in? You could probably spend that $$ in other places to make a reliable long travel bike. My 2 pennies. Oh and Zilch, WTF do Bee’s and honey have to do with anything??
