Not really vintage but looking for opinions

Looking for a newer bike. Currently ride an '81 BMW R100, and am looking for a more modering bike. Found two and am wondering if anyone has experience with either.
2001 ZRX1200,, nice, low miles, stock except slip on muffler. Its at a dealership so...$$$$.
Or
'96 VFR750, been dropped at low speed, scratched and craked faring, 25k miles, stock, low asking price.
Im torn.

vfr750's are old reliable bikes, I have an 85 vfr 700 that has 45k miles currently and still runs like a boss.
I don't think they have changed much on it throughout the years.

for what its worth, im selling this 91 ST1100 for $2800.00 its turn key and been gone through, needs nothing. High miles but doesnt matter with these bikes. 60k miles.
new tires, wheel bearings, brakes front and back, corbin seat, 40 mpg, runs great, carbs been gone through.
