Removing the old rotten gas lines on my Honda I realized that the small brass fittings/nipples from the petcock to the gas lines also came off.
My question is... what kind of adhesive should be used (if any) to reattached these fittings to the petcock? There is no problem with the gas line side as the clamps are good and it is shaped to allow compression of the line onto the fitting. I assume it should be something the gas will not dissolve or cause to break down. The fittings were already very lose as they came right out without any pressure.
Suggestions?? Thanks

Yes, both came out of the same petcock. I have to believe it is possible to put them back in, with the proper adhesive? They seem to go back in easily, are completely clean and in good repair.

I had one fall out of a petcock on one of my bikes and I put a little J B weld on it and tap it back in with a plastic mallet . That was 4 years ago and it is still holding.

Thanks for the info. I will try the JB Weld and plastic mallet (have both on hand)!
