Pre 1930 motorcycles traveling across the states in two weeks! Haven't seen this mentioned on here yet, but I find it fascinating and have been following it since the start. You can read up on it on many sites and blogs. www.motorcyclecannonball.com/www.wheelsthroughtime.com/motorcycle-cannonball/the blog of Shinya Kimura is an awesome documentation of their 1915 Indian and the endless troubles and shows how unlike many of the deep pocket owners in the race, these guys have true grit and determination. shinyakimura.blogspot.com/

I would love to have one of those bikes and do that. The money is a big part. Hell you know how much it cost just to ride a 40yr old triumph from one side of town to the other? Imagine riding a 100yr old one across the country!
