I'll be there. Was looking for someone organizing an Indy effort. I wear jacket/tie riding to work and the midwest needs a motorycyle style makeover.

Meh... if you look at a motorcycle as a syle accessory, you should probably just go ahead and buy a Harley. just sayin.

yeah, each person and motorcycle has their own personality. If people like to dress up in a suit and ride i have no prob with it, but id rather ride comfortable

I'm saying Harley's and the associated cliche styles are not attractive. Same for sport bike/bike trash (did someone mention Affliction earlier?). These seem to be the predominate rides/riders in the area. I have nothing against them and I always wave and associate. Jeans and t-shirt and being comfortable are great. I do the same. Getting dolled up in flames and skulls or putting a mohawk on your helmet...a bit goofy. That's all I was saying. Gentlemen's Ride? May be a bit goofy too but I prefer the style of suit/blazer etc...on two wheeled commuters commonly seen on European streets over the psuedo tough guy look common here.

hello Brandon, and welcome to the forum. it's great to see new blood trying to do something new in this town. good luck with your ride and your new business. I'm for anything or anyone promoting honest, inclusive motorcycle enthusiasm in Indpls. I spent a number of years hanging with friends in opposite riding "style" groups, and I do what I can now to avoid cliquish groups. the upswing in vintage interest is refreshing because it's the one place that style isn't a requirement. it's more about appreciation of a persons relationship with their machine than anything. after a little research on the Gents ride I see it's not as silly as I had thought at first. if it weren't for - got no suit, don't like rules, don't drink, hate football, I'm sure I'd love it:) do keep us posted on future events. at least you had the courage to host SOMETHING and invite EVERYONE. thank you for that.
