At least you made the whole run!!! thanks guys btw, I did not expect to place or win anything, there were so many unbelievable bikes at this Concours. And to take 2nd to that burgandy Kawi 350 smoker was really a win. it was MINT!!!

Man I am doing this next year. The Eichorn brothers said they let you go as fast as you want on the track. They were up front and could not even catch the leader. I thought it would be a 20-40mph walk through! The bikes that were in the show really drew a crowd inside the track. Chris it was nice to bump into you on the road heading in to the track. I had never seen your Beemer before that.

the rolling concourse is a must do at least once. since they moved it to the plaza all the fans just crowded around looking at all the vintage bikes. Was crazy.

Are you talking about the track lap or the ride?
I didn't do the the track lap because I thought the same as you... so if that's the case I'm bummed.
The ride was interesting since there were over 70 bikes , with only one lead bike , and noonne really knew where we were going. So there was a lot of playing catch up when we started getting separated. At one point the group I was in was doing 70 down Mann Rd. Which in that section is a little hair raising with the blind corners and patches of gravel. I think they are going to break it up in smaller groups next year. It was fun though, I'll do it again next year.

His brother John was on a modern sport bike and was around 100mph + trying to catch him but not even close. I'm signing up next year!

You just ruined my day......the pass for the lap clearly stated "controlled speed" which implies a crawl...good to know for next year

The plaza parking alone was worth the concours fee. The BMW is new to me, I clearly have some issues to chase down and education to gain on it. I didn't do the track lap either, that sounds like it would have been loads better than having to listen to the DJ at the sprockets event.
