Update: not much happening since i got back from vacation. Keith ordered 2 carb sets , one for me and one for his project. Ill be stashing them away till i get the carbs off and cleaned. Next step is pull off the carbs and then the engine, send the frame and parts to the powder coater. While thats being done Ill soda blast the carbs, engine, hubs and whatever else needs cleaned. Ill post pics as i go.
Brad, I need a pit bike to race, worst case ill race my daughters baja 70 in the pit bike race just to look like a goon.

Few updated Pics with some polishing Powdercoating done on frame and rims. slight prob, oil pump gear bolt backing out of the main crank :0 theres the culprit Hopefully Roger has a used bolt for me Parts to start painting and polishing on. Amazing what 20 mins on the polishing and buffing wheel will do :0 before after (ill go over them all again) before after (wow in the before you dont even see my reflection)

That bolt can be saved, take a swiss needle file and file those threads out.takes a lot of time and patients, but can be done,I ve saved starter and gear selecter shafts that way, takes a lot of time.

I will use some blue lock tight on it as well.
