Fri was our anniversary,she mentioned going to carb day,so what if we take a ride into the unknown and wing every thing and just ride to nowhere,no plans to follow and no destination,she was up for the idea,come what may.Here is leaving out Fri morning,bikes loaded,maintained and gassed,first destination was Nashville then Story,play it by ear from there.  Mind you,these are not BMW,KLRs or the such these are vintage Hondas,let the adventure begin.our first pic stop via 144 to state rd 37.  |

So anyway we roll on down to 252 to Morgantown,hook up with 135 and roll towards Nashville.We take a turn on Grampas something or another road,north of Nashville in the "sqeal like a pig boy" hood,good country,bad roads,followed by local pick up hooligans in the mirror.Im not worried to much,the trusty Smith and Wesson airweight 38 always ready,no trouble,seems people down there give riders room.unlike up here.So we finally work our way backto 135 and Nashville bound.  Sorry,Bean Blossum then Nashville.  A quick lunch and fuel top off at Nashville and south on 135. A stop for pics at BCSP.  |

The impromptu decision pulling out of Story was to ride south on 135 rolling south on 135  rolling on  more south  Stopped at the American Legion in Salem had a beer and water,refreshed and refueled and headed south |

Rode on out of Salem south on 135,no traffic,no assholes no grief,no stress.Rolling along with my wife/slash riding partner/life partner,riding into the unknown,going nowhere,going everywhere,the smells of nature in my nostrils,the comraderie of my mate,the vintage exhaust note in my ears,the rolling hills in the sunset it was like Easy Rider the movie in real life moving slower than time at 55 or so miles an hour,complete bliss and feeling at peace with nature and what life is all about,cant explain the feeling but I long for it beacause by me its the right thing to do.
