How hard is the carb work on old CBs? Is it the synchronizing that is the hard part or what?

The stock one curved around the oil filter on the left side and hugged the engine case by the footpeg and the muffler angled up towards the rear axle and was located higher than yours, still nice 4 into 1 on yours,Ive been lookin for a factory exhaust for mine and they are hard to find.I found a guy on a vintage twin forum that may have one.

Very cool CB500. Do you need a key for the ignition? or the seat? You should still be able to buy either with keys if you cant have a locksmith make one. I had a locksmith on the south side make a key for a cm185 I had. It worked most of the time even. :-)

Well after stealing some parts from my spare carbs and hooking up a gas tank i got it running and it is running great. I still need to get a clutch cable, battery, and finishes up some wiring
